FPL Paneorder.com mini-league GW16 preview: Head-to-head

– High and Low of Rubbish Rovers

– Matt’s free hit failure is part of the process

– Team news before FPL Cup Qualifying

Premier League football again took center stage of the sports world this weekend in England, and again FPL managers did not disappoint. There were Matt Grillo highs (and Matt Grillo lows). There was an incredible low 40-point from Rubbish Rovers as he dropped to second in Gameweek 10. But in the end, there was but one man staying in his team and free-hit squad: Dominic Calvert-Lewin (8.0m).

Match preview

The top 4,194,304 managers in Gameweek 16 will enter the first round of FPL Cup. If there are more than 4,194,304 qualifiers then there will be a random draw amongst the lowest scorers to see who qualifies.

Mulder Lam’s Goalen XI are in seriously good form and full of confidence after 98-point haul in Gameweek 14. But they are still the underdogs for this showdown in the GW16 qualifier. The host and FPL manager must have been fearing the worst after starting the pre-FPL Cup round with defeat and low scores away to Bangladesh.

Rob the Headline, Holding another Gunner

Getting into this preliminary round is inevitably Lam’s main goal this term after last season’s all miss out but he will send out strong sides in this competition and will have big enough free transfer capacity to be able to cope with demands. Arsenal have not lost in all UEFA Europa League away matches and Rob Holding (4.4m) kept one of the two clean sheets in that competition. Another unused substitute in Chelsea game, Daniel Ceballos (4.7m) could be a starter for Arsenal and he will be in my fifth midfielder slot.

Possible GW9 Wildcard Squad – Team News

My pick Jesus (9.1m) is self-isolating and will not be in the lineup. Another pick Jota (6.7m) is definitely out. Martial (8.7m) could be a rotation risk.

King’s Lynn Rovers: Goalen XI Team News

Oliver Burke (4.4m) is our late withdrawal from Goalen XI call-ups. He will not feature in our Head-to-head match against Vietnamese Arthur Michoux. Mulder had Leeds defensive reason to suspect that Luke Ayling (4.5m) might be on the negative return run.

FC Bandidos Team News

His FC Bandidos still hang on their Eagles’ big gun, Wilfried Zaha (7.5m). Mr Michoux could name the same attackers including Son (9.7m) and Kane (11.0m) to claim his comfortable win in the qualifiers.

Head-to-head

Arthur Michoux and Mulder Lam will fight against each other in the FPL qualifier for the first time this season.
