FPL Paneorder.com mini-league GW9 preview: Head-to-head

– Domestic talent

– Liverpool home form

– Wildcard squad of the Gameweek

It can be easy to fall into the trap of paying too much attention to domestic talent when looking at competitors in Paneorder.com league can alter considerably.

But the relative strength of domestic FPL managers have to be taken into account, so it would be easy to get carried away with some expert’s insights in the league.

Goalen XI with 415 FPL points this week enough lift them up by one place to the 49th.

Three wins from eight Gameweeks appears impressive, but of more concern in analyzing their game against Rubbish Rovers should be the comprehensive defeats they have suffered to his wildcard squad in FPL Gameweek 4.

Matt Grillo’s Rubbish Rovers represent a significant step up in class while those three losses were in Gameweek 1, 3 and 6, the manager from England look a decent bet, particularly as confidence should be sky high following their 6 points lead.

Liverpool home form

While Liverpool equalled their longest unbeaten home run of 63 league matches in match week 7, they will face a tough opponent, Leicester City who finished in top six in 2019/20 after a hectic international break. The only concern is their injury woes.

Wildcard Squad in this Gameweek

The 10 players picked in the first round of my 2020/21 Wildcard draft have FPL hopes. Some may get a one-game start toward that goal. More “Free-transfer” could sign as I make our way through the thick and fast Premier League season.

Here is a look at which players could draft in and the status of the others:

1. Jesus (MCI) 9.3m, 1.1%

My first differential is my go-to strikeforce in next couple of Gameweeks. Expected to play in my 3-4-3 formation.

2. Zaha (CRY) 7.4m, 29.8%

He is a popular choice in FPL world. He is an Out-of-position midfielder this season. Very promising potential to attack the rest of FPL teams.

3. Martial (MUN) 8.7m, 3.9%

Could play for the rejuvenated Manchester side. He will slot in my one of the three forward positions, even though he did not get a great start this season.

4. Jota and Alisson (LIV) 6.5m and 5.9m, 10.4% and 7.3%

If you are a FPL bargain hunter, it is always a dilemma to select Liverpool attackers and defenders all day long.

5. Vestergaard (SOU), Targett (AVL) and Dallas (LEE) 4.7m, 4.5m and 4.5m, 9.1%, 2.5% and 5.9%

Expected to play and rotate with your defensive unit. They are our suggested short-term defensive back-ups.

6. Mount (CHE) 6.8m 4.5%

Expected to auto-substitute in when anyone in my draft XI suffer(s) another injury blow. No injury news is good news. He could be your first sub on your bench.

7. Button (WBA) 4m, 4.7%

My next fodder backup goalkeeper is a decent replacement of Alisson.

Here everything you need to know ahead of the game…
