FPL Paneorder.com mini-league GW3 preview: Head-to-head

@HC1998 ‘s Bend Over N’golo amassed 159 FPL points last Gameweek and, after being his free signing ahead of deadline, Kevin De Bruyne’s backer was awarded as he scored 13 points. However, his Captain selection was Aubameyang.

Obviously, he did not get any punishment from selling Salah. #TeamNoSalah

Our host, Goalen XI’s Mulder Lam is on 122 points. He said, “We have some similarities in defensive unit including Liverpool’s twin full backs, Justin and Ben Davies, but Mitchell on his bench and Ward on mine.”

We will soon find out his forward selection and formation in Gameweek 3. I hold my fire to field my starting XI till the last minute and hopefully release the maximum power in the forthcoming fixtures.

We will be back on next Tuesday. See you FPL managers!

Summary of FPL GW2 story

Austin was the absentee and many seven-goal thrillers over the weekend. Me. Only 7 FPL points. Yes. It was SEVEN from three players including my captain Bruno Fernandes after all Saturday games.

The former leader @ChrisLeung07 who ranked sixth and used his wildcard and me entrusted Bruno Fernandes with the captain’s armband for Gameweek 2. But he blanked in his first home game.

On Sunday, Austin’s price is dropped. At the same time, I believe 5.6m Patrick Bamford will increase and play well again before Gameweek 3 deadline. (Your price increase message duly noted with thanks) In contrast, I do not believe any Sub-6m players in red-hot form bar Aston Villa. (I wrote this before Aston Villa home game.) So, I made the early transfer. Bamford > Austin

I am delighted to get an increase of my team value by 0.1m from this transfer. Happy Day!

In the final day of this round, my team got two goals from Justin and Kevin De Bruyne who prove a vital part to resurrect my FPL Gameweek 2. The Manchester City playmaker got me his first of double digit return in a monster point haul Gameweek.

FPL GW3 Free Transfer Glitz Calvert-Lewin #FPL #FPLCommunity #FantasyPL

Paneorder says striker’s all-round potential boost his appeal for Everton’s Gameweek 3

Paneorder highlights players for Fantasy Premier League managers to target with their valuable free transfer before the Gameweek 3 deadline.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin (EVE) 7.2m

Interest in Everton’s forward has been raised by their Gameweek 3 fixture.

The Toffees are among five unbeaten sides to play this round of matches, visiting Crystal Palace.

The Englishman has impressed going in front of goal, scoring four and claiming five Bonus points.

His excellent displays mean managers have a tempting alternative to premium attackers for the Gameweek 3 captaincy.

Indeed, his eight points in Toffees’ match against Tottenham Hotspurs have come from travel.

Calvert-Lewin had a successful last meeting with the Eagles, delivering one goal and providing one assist.

Combined with his sharpness in front of the goal, he looks the go-to option in attack for Everton’s upcoming away fixture.

FPL GW3 Free Transfer Glitz: Ederson #FPL #FPLCommunity #FantasyPL

Paneorder says Manchester City goalkeeper is a key factor behind their strong defensive record

Paneorder is selecting an overlooked player who could be set for a breakout Gameweek in Fantasy Premier League

Ederson (MCI) 6.0m

No 1 among premium goalkeepers and the Golden Glove winner of 2019/20 Fantasy Premier League picked up where he left off as he kept his place for Manchester City at Wolverhampton Wanderers in Gameweek 2.

Ederson has been a huge success in their last sixteen Premier League matches in which he has claimed ten clean sheets.

The 27-year-old sits 13 points off the top of the FPL goalkeeper standings on 2 points after their first game of the season.

And Pep Guardiola’s side schedule boosts his chances of bringing in further returns.

According to the Fixture Difficulty Ratings (FDR), their next four matches score no more than three.

And he remains a standout differential in goal with an ownership of just 5.7 per cent.

That lifts Ederson to bring in points in defence as a differential over the coming period, starting with Leicester City this weekend.

In their last meeting, he relied on City’s defensive unit with his resolute rearguard performance. Manchester City won one nil on the road.

FPL GW2 Free Transfer Glitz: Victor Lindelof #FPL #FPLCommunity #FantasyPL #HongKonger

Paneorder says centre-back has strong all-round potential for Manchester United’s first Gameweek

Paneorder is selecting an overlooked player who could be set for a breakout Gameweek in Fantasy Premier League

Victor Lindelof (MUN) 5.0m

The centre-back sits in only 2.0 per cent of squads for Manchester United’s home meeting with Crystal Palace.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men have been one of the most exciting teams defensively  since the 2019/20 season restart.

The 26-year-old has claimed five clean sheets from last nine matches including 2-0 win over Crystal Palace in July.

Manchester United will look to add to that tally against the Eagles who have struggled up front. (Crystal Palace only scored four goals in last 10 Premier League matches)

Great source of value

In current 5m-price range, he was the fifth top-scoring defender in the game on 116 points. Linderlof’s point per 90 minute (3.38 pts) further lifts his appeal as a cut-price route into the Red Devils’ backline.

When that factor is combined with his potential for more bonus point return, Lindelof looks set to enjoy a successful Gameweek 1.
