Paneorder says Manchester City goalkeeper is a key factor behind their strong defensive record

Ederson has been a huge success in their last sixteen Premier League matches in which he has claimed ten clean sheets.

The 27-year-old sits 13 points off the top of the FPL goalkeeper standings on 2 points after their first game of the season.

And Pep Guardiola’s side schedule boosts his chances of bringing in further returns.

According to the Fixture Difficulty Ratings (FDR), their next four matches score no more than three.

And he remains a standout differential in goal with an ownership of just 5.7 per cent.

That lifts Ederson to bring in points in defence as a differential over the coming period, starting with Leicester City this weekend. 

In their last meeting, he relied on City’s defensive unit with his resolute rearguard performance. Manchester City won one nil on the road.
