Paneorder on Chelsea left-back’s attacking potential ahead of a home encounter against Southampton

Paneorder is selecting an overlooked player who could be set for a breakout Gameweek 5 in Fantasy Premier League.

Benjamin Chilwell (CHE) 5.5m

Chelsea’s new left-back can be found in only 8.9 per cent of squads for his home meeting with Southampton.

The 23-year-old arrives at Stamford Bridge on the back of three goals and three assists in the last season for the top six side Leicester City.

His underlying numbers from 2020/21 highlight his all-round attacking potential.

Chilwell’s three bonus points would have ranked second among the Blues defenders.

And his one goal and one assist were bettered by only one other defender – Timonthy Castagne (5.8m, 1 goal and 3 assists).

Indeed, he is the most-bought defender in the Gameweek, earning more than 476,000 transfers in for his home match with the Saints’.

Favoured opponents

Those new owners will be encouraged by Chilwell’s strong record against GW5 opponents.

He netted one and supplied two assists in his two encounters with Southampton while playing for Leicester City.

Chilwell can help unlock the visitor’s defence and guide the Blues to a second straight win this weekend.

FPL GW5 Free Transfer Glitz Callum Wilson #FPL #FPLCommunity #FantasyPL

Paneorder says Newcastle striker has had 4 times more FPL points than Andy Carroll (5.4m) in his last four matches

Paneorder is tipping a player to produce big points in Gameweek 5 of Fantasy Premier League.

Callum Wilson (NEW) 6.5m

The Newcastle frontman is found in 12.9 per cent of squads ahead of his home match against Manchester United.

Wilson has become a key figure for Magpies, starting the last four fixtures he has been available for.

The 28-year-old has seized his opportunity, scoring in wins over West Ham United and Burnley in that period.

The underlying numbers show why he has been so successful.

The Englishman is the third most-bought forward for Gameweek 5, earning over 230,000 transfers in.

Vulnerable visitors

Manchester United visit St James’ Park this weekend with a poor defensive record in last three league games.

They are the one of those side yet to keep a clean sheet this season and their total of 11 goals conceded is a joint-second league-leading total.

With his growing influence on his spearhead’s attack, Wilson can profit from that weakness and extend his recent run of returns.

FPL Paneorder.com mini-league GW4 preview: Head-to-head

– Top 20 Bruno Fernandes ownership

– Penalty taker – Bruno Fernandes chance

– Potent defensive trio

Paneorder assesses the league of Gameweek 3 as Manchester United playmaker sets up chaotic final and shows his worth of penalty-taker role

For a second successive Gameweek, Bruno Fernandes (10.5m) played a pivotal role in Fantasy Premier League.

Although the midfielder’s Manchester United were narrowly netted in the crucial third goal, Fernandes’s performance has made him the third-most (4) captaining player in our top-20 of Gameweek 3.

He has already earned 170,000+ new owners in the lead-up to the next deadline of 11:00 BST on Saturday 3 October.

Fernandes’s team-mate Donny van de Beek (7m) ranks third only to Fernandes and Rashford (9.5m) among his squad for FPL points after his goal against the Eagles.

Targeting those players on the score-sheet in last Gameweek could be a wise strategy in FPL.

Potent defensive trio

Trent Alexander-Arnold (7.5m), Andrew Robertson (7.0m) and Timothy Castagne (5.7m) were among the top eleven defenders to record 4+ FPL points.

Leicester City right-back Castagne is currently the top-scoring defender in the opening three Gameweeks after a 14-point return against West Bromwich Albion.

The Foxes have scored twelve goals in their last three Premier League outings and first-choice attacking starters could be worth a look.

Indeed, next two fixtures are against clubs who finished in the bottom half last season.

Mulder Lam @Lammy_Cafe ranked twentieth in leaderboard to expect the GW3 leader @fool_ball ‘s Points Heist team who have a luxury at his backline, including Maguire (5.5m), Alexander-Arnold, Doherty (5.9m) and van Dijk (6.5m) fields the same defensive unit in GW4. Certainly, they can continue their excellent run in the next fixture.

Good luck everyone! See you all in next week!
