Paneorder says the Manchester City midfielder is a major influence in home matches and has the form to punish Chelsea
Paneorder is tipping one player to produce big points in Gameweek 1 of Fantasy Premier League.

The Manchester City anchor enjoyed his best-ever FPL campaign in 2023/24.
Rodri totalled 159 points to finish as the third top-scoring City’s player in the game.
He scored 8 goals and supplied 10 assists in Fantasy, finishing only one assist behind their chief creator, Alvarez (7.0m).
Rodri has been consistent to replicate that form in UEFA EURO 2024 in July.
The Spanish International scored once in knock-out stages, a 4-1 win over Georgia.
Popular enabler pick
The 28-year-old’s prolific 2023/24 has made Rodri a major target for the Gameweek 1 visit to Chelsea.
He is a great enabler in midfield in FPL, found in 6.9 per cent of squads.
Those owners will be encouraged by Rodri’s numbers from last season.
When selected, he was involved in 40 per cent of Man City’s away goals during their first two away matches in last campaign.
Indeed, their visit to Chelsea last term, Rodri scored the fourth goal in their 4-4 draw in Stamford Bridge.

The early-season schedule further promotes the appeal of Rodri.
According to the Fixture Difficulty Ratings (FDR), four of Man City’s first five home matches score only two.
Although he may not start in Gameweek 1, Rodri can still offer a steady stream of goals during the opening months of 2024/25 FPL.
