Paneorder is tipping one player to produce big points in Gameweek 26 of Fantasy Premier League.
Leandro Trossard (ARS) 6.5m
Trossard retained his place as a striker away against Porto in the UEFA Champions League in midweek.
After featuring as a starter for 74 minutes in the Gunners’ UEFA Champions League loss on Wednesday, Trossard will be fully refreshed to start against a Newcastle United this weekend.
Mikel Arteta is hopeful the Belgian will be ready for Saturday’s home encounter with Newcastle United.
But FPL managers should wait for further news from the manager’s next press conference before making their move.
If he is passed fit, Trossard can continue his excellent form after scoring in four of the last five Gameweeks.
Trossard has netted against Crystal Palace, Liverpool and West Ham United, returning eight points on each occasions in that run.
The underlying statistics highlight a big improvement in how frequently Trossard is claiming the FPL point of late.
From Gameweek 21 onwards, Trossard has recorded 5 attacking returns, the second-highest total among his team-mates.
Against Burnley last weekend, Trossard’s fourth goal took his season’s tally to 7 and only one behind his record (8 goals) in 2021/22 and 2022/23 seasons.
He can add to that total this weekend.
Struggling Magpies
Newcastle United are on a poor run, losing four, drawing two and winning two of their last eight matches in Premier League competition.
Eddie Howe’s men are without a clean sheet in the last eight Gameweeks, conceding 19 goals.
Trossard can profit from those weaknesses and bring in more FPL returns.
