Silva has missed only one of Man City’s away matches this season due to tactical reasons.
Yet the underlying statistics show he has been the defending champions’ main threat when playing away from home.
At home and away, Silva’s 13 bonus points have been more than any team-mate, except Erling Haaland (13.9m) 15.
He has been involved in 12 per cent of City’s goals when selected, second only to the 33 per cent of Erling Haaland.
Yet whereas Haaland sits in 58 per cent of squads, only 4.0 per cent own the Portuguese.
Silva’s popularity is on the rise, however, ahead of a home match against Sheffield United.
The 29-year-old is the third most-bought Man City player in the Gameweek.
And his 77,000+ new owners will be encouraged by his impressive record in recent weeks.
He has produced two goals and one assist in his last three Premier League appearances.
Chris Wilder’s men have also struggled defensively of late and are without a win and clean sheet in all away games on slow start in his second stint with the Blades.
This suggests Silva can reward his growing ownership and get more goals and assists on Saturday afternoon.
