FPL GW9 Free Transfer Glitz: Lyle Foster

Paneorder says Burnley forward has had more than twice as many as Zeki Amdouni in his last four matches

Paneorder is selecting one overlooked player who could be set for a breakout Gameweek 9 in Fantasy Premier League.

Lyle Foster (BUR) 5.0m

The Burnley player is found in only 1.2 per cent of squads ahead of his away match against Brentford.

Foster has become a key figure for Clarets, starting the last two fixtures he has been available for.

Listed as a forward in Fantasy, the South African has one goal and one assist to his name and yet to blank in back-to-back Gameweeks since Gameweek 7.

The 23-year-old has seized his opportunity, scoring in win over Luton Town and providing an assist at home against Chelsea in that period.

Their upcoming opponents raise the appeal of investing in Burnley’s attack.

Vincent Kompany’s side face two of the bottom three teams in the next six Gameweeks. They visit AFC Bournemouth and host Sheffield United.

Although Julian Alvarez (7.0m) and Alexander Isak (7.5m) offer mid-price alternatives, Foster’s attacking potential makes him a standout (5.0m) priced option in attack.

Favourable opponents

Brentford are one of the five sides yet to win at home in the opening Gameweeks this term.

That gives Foster the platform to bring in more points, offering a cut-price route into the Burnley’s attack. Combined with his potential for the bonus point, Foster can prove a handy budget pick in attack in Gameweek 9.
