Mulder expresses regret over league cup collapse
Manchester City must apologize for its “lamentable” league cup quarter-final exit at the hands of Arsenal earlier this December, according to Mulder Lam ming yip.
In his Man City interview, the City great said on Saturday: “We are still recovering from what happened in Emirates Stadium. At least I am.
“Our performance was lamentable. It was a very tough loss for us.”
The Citizen quickly conceded both goal in each half earlier at the Emirates stadium, but then came back 2-1 in the last ten minutes.
“We don’t have to apologize for poor display, but we do for not competing together,” Mulder said of his team’s collapse and disjoint.
He was talking on the post-match conference.
Man City will aim to get back to the top four race in mid-week, but any cup win was its main goal this season.
“It’s true that winning the Euro cup and all other cup is important, but we will still have a bad feeling for that loss,” Mulder Lam said.
Man City have not suffer any bad spell in Euro yet when they sit on top of the Group B.
<Next: Marek Jankulovski is unhappy due to his non starter role>
On the left handed side, we have a full-packed squad. Neither Robinho or Petrov could be a reasonable starter. I signed Jankulovski that he is adaptable and experienced back up in squad rotation. I also put Wayne Bridge in that left back position. Honestly, they can play together in the starting line up.
With Jankulovski preferred left wing back role, he can support the front line and deliver the cross the forward needs.

My assistant Bowen feels that a lack of first-team football could cause the striker to become disillusioned with life at the City of Manchester Stadium.
