Paneorder says the Man City playmaker is among key captain options for their Gameweek 2
Kevin De Bruyne (MCI) 11.5m
De Bruyne will be a major captaincy candidate for Manchester City’s first Gameweek this season.
Pep Guardiola’s men are among the four sides to play their first time in that round of fixture after the blank Gameweek, visiting Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Belgium star De Bruyne excelled in his last appearance against the Wolves, providing an assist even though Man City lost.
Sitting in only 29.1 per cent of squads, De Bruyne will attract more managers to bolster their squad.
De Bruyne is the second most-bought player in the Gameweek, earning over 220,000 transfer in.
He was player of the season and has claimed the most points in 2019/20 season.
And the midfielder’s underlying statistics further highlight his influence on the Man City attack.
He has provided a league-leading 23 Fantasy assists and has also found the net on thirteen occasions over his 35 appearances last term.
De Bruyne’s secure starting position is a big factor in their first Gameweek.
He has played more minutes than any other outfield player for Guardiola’s side last season, suggesting he is less likely to be rotated than his team-mates.
Combined with his all-round attacking potential, De Bruyne looks impossible to ignore for Gameweek 2.
