The second runner-up Leeds United will kick off their 2019-20 English Championship League season with an away trip to Bristol City while promoted Luton Town get the ball rolling with a Friday evening home clash against Middlesbrough.
The fixtures also include a meaty first-weekend clash with Nottingham Forest hosting West Bromwich Albion, who finished fourth last season.
Swansea City, who completed the top ten last season, are at home to Hull City, who now manage by former Doncaster Rover boss Grant McCann.
Fulham travel to Barnsley while Cardiff City, the other relegated club, start at Wigan Atheltic.
Blackburn Rovers host Charlton Athletic, Brentford face Birmingham City, Millwall host Preston North End, Sheffield Wednesday travel to Reading and Stoke City are at home to Queens Park Rangers.
The season starts on August 2.
Frank Lampard’s Derby County, who completed an incredible journey to Play-off final last season, have a relatively difficult start to the new campaign. In the first of first eight matches, they face Huddesfield Town, who is Premier league team last season away from home. They then host Swansea in the second weekend. They travel to Stoke, host Bristol City and West Bromwich Albion, visit Brentford and face Cardiff City at home and then take on Leeds United at Elland Road.
The first game after Play-off between last season’s promotion rivals takes place on September 21.
Swansea City and Cardiff City fans will not have long to wait for the season’s first Wales derby, with the sides meeting at the Liberty Stadium on October 26.
Other notable dates include Derby County’s trip to Nottingham Forest on November 9 and the Yorkshire derby at the Hillsborough on August 10.
