A maze of 4-5-1 without Robinho
Vukcevic out in the cold
Simon Vukcevic is the highest profile player to have been excluded by Montenegro manager Zoran Filipovic from his squad to face Hungary in this week’s friendly.
Reports have suggested that the 22-year-old is being rested but the
speculation on the Manchester City attacking midfielder’s Montenegro future will continue to mount until the team’s next friendly match.
The new Manchester City signing has already made it known in recent days that he is pleased to be part of the setup at The City of Manchester Stadium.
Vukcevic has won 5 caps for Montenegro.
What if he come back to the fold of Montenegro and Man City main plan?
We can see that Jovetic and Vucinic are both good players in international level. They could make a big hit in next few years and in some European competition. He needs to adept in my City plan and find a way through to get back to international first team and City first team action as quick as possible since moving from Sporting CP.
Plan ahead – The right position in City squad
He will compete with Shaun Wright-Phillips and Pablo Zabaleta for the right winger place. However, his favourite position is left winger. But I got Martin Petrov and Robinho in that position. I believe Daniel Sturridge could do a great job too. He need to put extra effort to hunt down a limited game time in a fierce team rotated competition.
