FPL Paneorder.com mini-league GW8 preview: Head-to-head

-Paneorder League GW7 review

-Summary of my GW7 story

This Gameweek, Matt Grillo will get a day pairing with Mulder Lam@Lammy_cafe in our head-to-head, meaning the two pacesetters will play for the first time in Paneorder.com League.

The downside, of course, is that Paneorder boss is well out of contention. In fact, he will be on the opposite side of the ranking from the leaders, kicking off from Gameweek 8.

Meaningless in the scope of the competition, but you know we’ll want to get the best of each other – even if we have the same Premium players in our squad.

The competition has a nice leaderboard with Rubbish Rovers and Winning Eleven in the first two positions – and several other contenders within striking distance, as 6 FPL managers are within 20 points of the lead.

“There have been 9 attacking returns in his squad, compared with a total of just 2 in mine this term. Matt has been the main beneficiary.” Paneorder.com boss Mulder Lam said.

Summary of my GW7 Story

My appeal for goal and assist potential met with a meager return. I got only two returns from two players. I’ve been in on Leeds United’s Luke Ayling since last Gameweek and he continues to stay in Bielsa’s game plan. But I strongly recommend Aston Villa’s defender this Gameweek.

FPL GW8 Free Transfer Glitz Harry Kane #FPL #FPLCommunity #FantasyPL

Paneorder says Englishman can be handy alternative to Bale and Son in this Gameweek

Paneorder is selecting a player who could be set for a breakout Gameweek 8 in Fantasy Premier League.

Harry Kane (TOT) 10.9m

The striker is owned by 43.9 per cent of managers ahead of Tottenham Hotspur’s trip to West Bromwich Albion.

Kane has been largely supported by managers due to the early-season form, who are the two top-scoring players in FPL.

However, the England captain could soon start accumulating FPL points again before the international break with Spurs.

He played 623 minutes in the opening seven Gameweeks and claimed 71 FPL points in this period.

Their partnership with Son on the pitch is likely to increase the chance to get much more FPL points together. Kane’s pitch time is also likely to manage as Spurs continues their quest in Euro Cup.

But his upcoming schedule nonetheless gives him the chance to make an immediate show of bumper haul.

After their match against Brighton & Hove Albion, Spurs face West Bromwich Albion.

That fixture raises Kane’s appeal for those seeking out a chance to use triple captain chip.

FPL GW8 Free Transfer Glitz Wilfried Zaha #FPL #FPLCommunity #FantasyPL

Paneorder is tipping a player to produce big points in Gameweek 8 of Fantasy Premier League.

Wilfried Zaha (CRY) 7.2m

The Crystal Palace midfielder has started 2020/21 in outstanding form.

Zaha has scored five goals and also supplied one assist over the opening seven Gameweeks.

He is the top-scoring midfielder among the Eagles squad on 49 points, fourth overall to the 71 point of Spurs winger Son Heung-min (9.6m).

And his potential as an out of position FPL midfielder has been highlighted by huge hauls of 15 points against Manchester United in Gameweek 2 and 13 points versus Fulham in Gameweek 6.

Zaha’s displays have made him a big target for FPL managers before the international break.

He has earned more than 115,000+ new owners ahead of Gameweek 8 deadline.

Fantasic fixtures

His schedule suggests he can reward that faith.

Hodgson’s side face Leeds United, Burnley, Newcastle United and West Bromwich Albion in the next four Gameweeks.

According to the Fixture Difficulty Ratings (FDR), those four matches score two.

Zaha’s ability to deliver devastating points hauls will put him among the standout FPL player options during that period.

Summary of FPL GW7 Story

Adama Traore (6.3m) is still an impactful substitute, but I will not consider him in my FPL squad. Meanwhile, Zaha (7.4m) got his booking rather his scoring after his visit to Wolverhampton. READ MORE

Brewster (4.5m) played his first full match in Sheff Utd shirt. Walker goal against boyhood club gives Man City win over Sheff Utd READ MORE

Mendy (5.1m) repeated his heroic display and had a shut out in Burnley.

Nathaniel Phillips (4.0m) was in Liverpool lineup while Sebastien Haller (6.1m) was the replacement of Antonio (6.2). However, Said Benrahma (6.0m) is placed on my watchlist.

Danny Ings (8.5m) was back on scoring, but he limped off in Aston Villa.

Only one change was in Magpies’ lineup. Sean Longstaff (4.8m) has been eyed as a potential missing piece of the jigsaw puzzle in Newcastle by me eager to see their options upgraded.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer got his score-card in his 100thgame as United boss. A 1-0 loss to Arsenal.

Gareth Bale (9.5m) stole the show by scoring his first in his second home appearances.

Sheffield United and Burnley make up the remainder of the relegation places and tied on 1 point while WBA still sit at the relegation zone without a win.

Leicester City won five of their first seven matches of a top-flight season for the first time.
