FPL GW23 Free Transfer Glitz: Gabriel

Paneorder says Arsenal centre-back has the schedule to maintain his early-season form in Fantasy

Paneorder is tipping one player to produce big points in Gameweek 23 of 2025/26 Fantasy Premier League.

Gabriel (ARS) 6.9m

Arsenal’s defender has been among the standout players in FPL over the first-half of 2025/26 season.

Gabriel has scored three goals and supplied two assists, with his total of 120 points making him the top-scoring defender, ten points clear of his nearest rival Trevoh Chalobah (5.6m).

Indeed, Gabriel is ranked joint-fifth overall, just 45 points behind Manchester City forward Erling Haaland (15.1m).

The underlying statistics show why Gabriel has made such a big impact at the start of 2025/26.

He is joint-second only to Arsenal’s outfield player Martin Zubimendi (5.2m) for clean-sheets, by 10 to 11.

When it comes to points per match (ppm), the Gunners defender has been in a class of his own, recording a league-leading 7.5 points among FPL defenders.

In just 16 matches of the new season, Gabriel has matched his attacking output and clean-sheets from 2024/25.

Indeed, he is just two goals short of equalling his best-ever season.

More to come?

Arsenal have already kept three clean-sheets in last four Gameweeks.

Arsenal’s upcoming run of opponents looks very encouraging for their key defenders.

They face Manchester United, Leeds United and Sunderland in the next three Gameweeks.

According to the Fixture Difficulty Ratings (FDR), each of their three matches from Gameweek 23 onwards score no more than three.

That lifts Gabriel’s potential for more goals, assists and clean-sheets before Gunners’ schedule toughens next month.

FPL GW22 Free Transfer Glitz: Harry Wilson

Paneorder says Fulham midfielder’s goal threat will trouble Leeds

Paneorder is tipping one player to produce big points in Gameweek 22 of Fantasy Premier League.

Harry Wilson (FUL) 5.9m

Fulham’s playmaker enjoyed his most prolific season to date, scoring 7 goals to claim a career-high 102 points.

His second goal in Fulham’s 2-1 win against Chelsea took his tally to seven goals this term, making this the most prolific season of his Fantasy career.

After breaking the 100-point barrier this campaign, Wilson is a strong option in the sub-6.0m bracket.

The Welshman averaged a goal involvement every 115.2 minutes in 2025/26, the second-quickest average for FPL midfielders.

In demand

Wilson has caught the eye of managers ahead of the Gameweek 22.

He has earned over 397,000 transfers in ahead of Saturday’s deadline, making him the third most-bought midfielder in the Gameweek.

According to the Fixture Difficulty Ratings (FDR), nine of their ten matches score no more than three.

His new owners will also be encouraged by Leeds’ poor record in defence.

The Whites have conceded 37 goals this season, the fifth-most in the Premier League.

Daniel Farke’s side have not kept any clean sheet in their last eight PL home matches.

When that factor is combined with his attacking potential, Wilson could be poised for another big return this weekend.

FPL GW21 Free Transfer Glitz: Ollie Watkins

Paneorder says away form of Aston Villa striker marks him out as a good candidate for the festive schedule

The in-form Ollie Watkins (8.7m) provides Fantasy Premier League managers with a tempting option up front over the busy festive period.

Ollie Watkins (AVL) 8.7m

Aston Villa’s frontman has recovered from an inconsistent form at the start of this season.

And his play is now making the statement that he deserves to be in the England’s World Cup squad this summer.

Watkins has stepped up his output in recent matches for the Villans.

Back on song

He has scored in the last three Gameweeks, netting against Chelsea, Arsenal and Nottingham Forest.

The Englishman has been particularly reliable when playing away this season.

Watkins has averaged 4.6 points per match on his travels, compared with 3.3 at Villa Park. The underlying statistics show why.

In the forwards’ point table, Watkins’ 79 total FPL points are bettered by just 6 other players in FPL.

Furthermore, the 30-year-old’s 7 goals this term are also level with the Newcastle United striker Nick Woltemade (7.3m) and Tottenham Hotspur striker Richarlison (6.4m). He is joint-fourth this term.

Aston Villa’s schedule lifts Watkins’ potential in FPL, with three of their next five matches at the opponents’ stadiums.

In addition, their Gameweek 22 home encounter with Everton scores just two in the Fixture Difficulty Ratings (FDR).

That hands Watkins the chance to continue his improving form and get more goals over next few Gameweeks.

FPL GW20 Free Transfer Glitz: Jarrod Bowen

Paneorder says West Ham forward can deliver on his promising stats against a leaky Wolves defence

Paneorder is tipping one player to produce big points in Gameweek 20 of Fantasy Premier League.

Jarrod Bowen (WHU) 7.6m

The West Ham forward visits Wolverhampton on Saturday in the most consistent form of his 2025/26 campaign.

Bowen has blanked just twice in the Hammers’ last six PL matches, totalling 32 points.

He has scored against Brighton & Hove Albion on the road during that period, and also supplied an assist against Manchester United.

By comparison, he had blanked in two of the opening six away match days. (Only once in last three Gameweeks away from home)

The underlying statistics show why Bowen has been so successful recently.

On the subject of players who are reliable starters, Bowen is the only forward to play every single minute of the Premier League season so far.

At a time of the year when rotation and minute management are rife, Bowen offers Fantasy managers peace of mind.

Coming out of a tricky run of matches with four returns in the last six Gameweeks, the West Ham club captain is joint-third in the forwards’ point table.

Porous hosts

Wolverhampton Wanderers’ defensive record further raises Bowen’s prospects in Fantasy.

The Wolves have failed to keep a clean sheet in each of the last 19 Gameweeks and have conceded an average of 2.5 goals per match at Molineux Stadium this season. (Total 23 goals conceded in nine home games)

Bowen’s all-round improvement can profit from those weaknesses, rewarding managers with more FPL returns in Gameweek 20.

FPL GW19 Free Transfer Glitz: Florian Wirtz

Paneorder says Liverpool midfielder has the pace to take advantage of Leeds United’s high defensive line

Paneorder is tipping one player to produce big points in Gameweek 19 of Fantasy Premier League.

Florian Wirtz (LIV) 8.1m

A home encounter with Leeds United gives the Liverpool playmaker an opportunity to get back on the scoresheet in Gameweek 19.

Wirtz has had an inconsistent start to 2025/26, blanking in all of his opening 11 matches since his summer arrival from Bauer 04 Leverkusen.

But he has also shown his explosive potential, claiming his first double-digit haul against Premier League strugglers Wolverhampton Wanderers last Gameweek.

Wirtz’s pace against Wolverhampton Wanderers’ high defensive line was a major weapon for Arne Slot’s side in their 2-1 win.

Crucially, his next opponents Leeds United employ a similar tactic at the back.

Leeds United have conceded 20 goals away from home, only AFC Bournemouth (27) and Burnley (24) have conceded more in the league.

Also, Leeds have not kept a single clean sheet in all top-flight games (9) away from Elland Road this term.

Moreover, they have struggled when facing opponents with pace up front.

Phil Foden (9.0m) was the first player to exploit those frailties this season.

The Manchester City attacking midfielder scored a brace and collected 15 points in a 3-2 win at home in Gameweek 13.

Liverpool’s Hugo Ekitike (9.1m) then hit his double of the campaign in the reverse fixture against Whites in Gameweek 15.

The Frenchman claimed his season-high haul of 13 points.

Wirtz has the speed and movement to follow Foden and Ekitike’s lead and bring in a big haul of his own this Thursday.
