FPL GW1 Free Transfer Glitz: Brennan Johnson

Paneorder is tipping one player to produce big points in Gameweek 1 of 2025/26 Fantasy Premier League.

Brennan Johnson (TOT) 7.0m

The Welshman can quickly establish himself as a huge source of value in his new manager Thomas Frank’s first season with Tottenham Hotspur.

The Spurs have a favourable early schedule, hosting Burnley and visiting West Ham United in the first four Gameweeks.

According to the Fixture Difficulty Ratings (FDR), each of those matches score only two.

Encouraging for Tottenham, West Ham United have struggled in defence last season.

Indeed, West Ham United conceded 34 goals at home in their last 19 Premier League appearances. In terms of total goal conceded, it’s the sixth-worst in 2024/25 Premier League’s history.

Attacking influence

Johnson made an immediate impact last two terms after arriving during the June transfer window in 2023/24 season.

Handed an advanced right-side role by Ange Postecoglou, he produced 18 goals and seven assists in all competitions last season.

Combined with 13 bonus points, he averaged 5.7 points per start in 2024/25.

The underlying statistics further highlight Johnson’s influence on the Spurs’ attack.

From the point of his first season under Postecoglou, his total of 137 points was his PL career-best and team-leading total.

At a cost of only 7.0m in Fantasy, Johnson has the schedule to offer outstanding value from the very start of the season.

FPL New arrival: Consider Frimpong from Gameweek 4

Paneorder says full-back can be an all-round success when Liverpool’s fixtures turn favourable

Paneorder looks at the Fantasy Premier League potential of summer signings ahead of the 2025/26 season.

Jeremie Frimpong (LIV) 6.0m

Liverpool’s new right-back has been one of the most attack-minded defenders in the Bundesliga in the last three seasons.

Frimpong scored 30 goals and supplied 44 assists in his 190 starts for Bayer 04 Leverkusen.

The 24-year-old’s underlying numbers last term further highlight his all-round potential going forward.

His 5 goals would have ranked joint-top with Marc Cucurella (6.0m), Josko Gvardiol (6.0m) and Nikola Milenkovic (5.5m).

And his total of 6 assists was bettered by just 5 Premier League defenders.

Indeed only another Liverpool’s new signing Milos Kerkez (6.0m), who supplied six assists, was more creative among Arne Slot’s defenders.

Encouragingly for the Reds, Frimpong also impressed defensively last season.

He has kept nine clean sheets in his past 33 league games.

That could be vital for the Merseyside club, who had the best defensive record in 2024/25, keeping 14 clean sheets.

In the first three Gameweeks, they will face three of last season’s top nine sides: AFC Bournemouth, Newcastle United and Arsenal.

But a favourable run of opponents from Gameweek 4 could promote investment in Frimpong.

Home comfort

Liverpool then have three home matches in six fixtures, against Everton, Manchester United and Aston Villa.

Crucially, they kept six clean sheets at Anfield last term, the same number as Everton. But the record bettered by the 8 of Nottingham Forest and 7 of Arsenal.

When his attacking potential is added to the equation, Frimpong can bring in points at both ends of the pitch.

FPL GW38 Free Transfer Glitz: Jarrod Bowen

Paneorder is tipping one player to produce big points in the final Gameweek of 2024/25 Fantasy Premier League.

Jarrod Bowen (WHU) 7.9m

The 28-year-old has been a standout performer in Fantasy since the appointment of Graham Potter at West Ham United.

Bowen has scored seven goals and supplied four assists in the Hammers’ subsequent 14 matches.

That has helped him total 90 points from Gameweek 24 onwards.

A trip to Ipswich Town gives the West Ham United star the chance to finish on a high after a prolific end to the season.

Bowen has blanked in just one of Hammers’ last 7 matches, scoring 5 goals and delivered two assists in that period.

Indeed, his strike at home to Nottingham Forest last weekend took him to 180 points overall this season, just two points short of his FPL record in 2023/24.

Bowen’s potential for more attacking returns is boosted by his hosts’ inevitable relegation.

Encouraging for Hammers, their opponents have won only once at Portman Road all season.

Ipswich Town have conceded 16 goals in the last seven Gameweeks, more than any other side in that period except 17 of Tottenham Hotspur.

Meanwhile, Bowen’s total of 12 goals also ranks among the top five midfielders in Fantasy.

The underlying statistics further enhance the appeal of turning to Bowen.

His 180 FPL points and 18 Bonus Points are both team-leading total.

As a focal point of the Hammers attack, Bowen looks set to exploit those weaknesses and end the season on a high.

FPL GW37 Free Transfer Glitz: Kevin Schade

Paneorder is tipping one low-owned player who could be set for a big Gameweek in Fantasy Premier League.

Kevin Schade (BRE) 5.2m

The German is set for an emotional farewell to the 2024/25 Premier League when Brentford face Fulham in their last home match this Sunday.

Schade was on the scoresheet in the Bees’ 1-0 win with Ipswich Town last weekend, netting his 11th goal of the season to claim eleven.

Despite being limited to just 24 starts and a further 11 outings off the bench, the 23-year-old has been a major influence on his side’s attack.

When selected, Schade has been involved the third-highest 18 per cent of Brentford’s goals in 2024/25, compared to the 30 per cent of Bryan Mbeumo (8.3m) and the 28 per cent of Yoane Wissa (6.8m).

Furthermore, his average 193 minutes per goal ranks second behind the Cameroonian among all Bees’ midfielders in Fantasy. (Interpreted as: playing minutes per goal with a minimum of 1,000 minutes)

Fulham, meanwhile, have already been lost more ground in battle for eighth place due to a series of poor defensive displays.

They have conceded at least one goal in 13 of their last 14 PL matches.

Schade has the form to maintain his recent momentum and finish this season in style at Gtect Community Stadium.

FPL GW36 Free Transfer Glitz: Ryan Sessegnon

Paneorder is tipping one player to produce big points in Gameweek 36 of 2024/25 Fantasy Premier League.

Ryan Sessegnon (FUL) 4.2m

Sessegnon had struggled to secure a starting role in the opening 30 Gameweeks this campaign.

After joining the club last summer, he featured in the first XI in only 1 of the Cottagers’ opening 30 Premier League fixtures.

Sessegnon had played just 105 minutes under Marco Silva this season prior his return to the starting lineup in Gameweek 31.

But he has since established himself as a key player for Silva.

He has now started each of the Cottagers’ last five matches alongside Alex Iwobi (5.6m) in both flanks.

Sessegnon has quickly made an impact at both ends of the pitch, combining two goals and an assist with a clean sheet over those encounters.

Those displays have led to a price rise of 0.1m during the Gameweek 35.

Yet despite that climb in cost, he is the second-best value defender in FPL, returning 1.4 form per million.

The out-of-position full-back offers strong potential for defensive and attacking returns at home to Fulham this weekend.

During that period, he produced one attacking return in each of the last three Premier League home fixtures, including two goals and one assist.

Everton, meanwhile, have struggled in defence recently and have only a single shut-out in last 12 outings.

Sessegnon’s goal threat could be a major weapon for the hosts on Saturday.

The attacking wing-back has claimed five bonus points in his last seven matches, compared to the one of Antonee Robinson (4.8m).

Indeed, that total has been bettered only by the seven of Rayan Ait-Nouri (5.1m) among all defenders.

At a cost of only 4.2m, Sessegnon’s all-round appeal makes him a strong value pick for the Gameweek ahead.
