The winger is owned by only 13.8 per cent of managers for managers for Newcastle’s Gameweek 34.

Eddie Howe’s team are among the six sides to play twice in Gameweek 37, with Brighton & Hove Albion visiting St. James Park before their visit to Old Trafford.

Gordon’s ability to produce devastating points hauls can a big factor when considering how to invest in the Newcastle United attack.

His total of five double-figure hauls this season is first for Howe’s side.

By comparison, his more expensive team-mate Alexander Isak (8.0m) has only managed four.

Although he has made only three appearances in the FPL Dream Team this season, he is joint-second only to the five of Kieran Trippier (6.6m) for Howe’s outfit.

Indeed, his average of 5.3 points per match (ppm) is rank joint-eighth among midfielders.

This suggests that even if he only starts one match in this Double Gameweek, Gordon can still reward investors in FPL.

Erling Haaland (MCI) 14.3m

The Manchester City star looks back to his very best for their Gameweek 33 home encounter with Luton Town.

Haaland has scored five goals and supplied two assists in his last ten outings, amassing 52 points.

He has been a huge success over the opening 32 Gameweeks. His 164 points are only 37 behind Ollie Watkins (8.8m) at the top of the forward standings.

The underlying statistics show why Haaland should be the go-to pick for managers looking to invest in Manchester City’s attack.

In his 24 starts in 2023/24, Haaland has combined 19 goals and seven assists.

As a result, he has averaged 6.6 points per match when named in the Manchester City starting XI.

The underlying statistics show White has been his side’s standout creator during that unbeaten run.

He has recorded four bonus points from Gameweek 27 onwards, his total placed joint-second for Mikel Arteta’s side, bettered only by the 5 of Martin Odegaard (8.5m).

The Englishman’s improvement is evident from the fact he has claimed 12 clean sheets over his 27 starts, just one less than the 13 of William Salina (5.8m).

White’s form has made him a top target for managers looking to navigate the double Gameweek 34, when Arsenal are among the seven teams to play twice in this round of fixtures.

Paneorder on why now could be the time to move for Newcastle United forward ahead of a home fixture against Everton

Newcastle United’s fit-again striker entertains Everton in fine form.

The Swede has scored in three of his last four starts in Fantasy, netting against Wolverhampton Wanderers, Chelsea and West Ham United.

Isak disappointed his FPL owners with a blank against Arsenal in Gameweek 26, only playing 63 minutes in the 4-1 defeat.

But his schedule suggests Isak can make amends for his display against the Toffees.

The Magpies are at home to Everton, Tottenham Hotspur and Sheffield United in the next five Gameweeks, and also visit Fulham and Crystal Palace.

That schedule is also reflected in the Fixture Difficulty Ratings (FDR), with each of those 8 matches scoring no more than three.

Isak’s Gameweek 31 meeting with Everton has drawn the attention of Fantasy managers.

He is the first most-bought forward ahead of Tuesday deadline, earning over 192,000+ transfers in.

The underlying numbers offer further encouragement for his new owners.

His total of 14 goals is at least double that of any other Newcastle United forward.

And he has recorded 11 bonus points in all Toon Army’s 15 home matches. His total of 14 bonus points also ranks second among his team-mate.

Struggling visitors

The Toffees, meanwhile, head to St. James Park on the back of three straight losses in the Premier League competition.

They have conceded 7 goals, joint-second only to the 11 Sheffield United.

That vulnerability at the back can hand Isak the chance to get more goals and strengthen his claim as a differential captain option.

Paneorder looks at one player who has offered big value for money in 2023/24 Fantasy Premier League.

Timothy Castagne (FUL) 4.5m

The right-back made only four appearances off the bench in last 26 Gameweeks for Fulham FC.

However, since being handed a regular role for the Cottagers in Gameweek 4, Castagne has thrived.

The Belgium’s total of 77 points since then is almost identical to the 77 of Antonee Robinson (4.6m), the leaders among all Fulham’s defenders.

In his 22 starts in 2023/24, Castagne has combined two assists with seven clean sheets.

As a result, he has averaged 3.0 points per match when named in the Fulham’s team sheet.

His defensive contribution is also favoured by the Bonus Points System (BPS), which determines the bonus points in any given match.

From Gameweek 26 onwards, Castagne’s total of 3 bonus points rank joint-top with Calvin Bassey (4.4m) among his team-mate in the defender category.

Points potential

This makes him the Fulham player most likely to claim bonus points whenever they keep a clean sheet.

Indeed, he has earned 6 bonus points, a total bettered only by Robinson among his defensive partners at the back.

Despite his run of fine performances, Castagne can be found in only 1.3 per cent of squads.

His remaining schedule suggests he can profit as a big differential for the season run-in.
