FPL GW15 Free Transfer Glitz: Alexander Isak

Paneorder says Newcastle United’s fixtures mean their talisman will be a key pick in Fantasy Premier League

Paneorder highlights one player for Fantasy Premier League managers to target with their one free transfer before the Gameweek 15 deadline.

Alexander Isak (NEW) 8.4m

The Sweden international has been a huge success since returning from broken toe.

Isak has scored four goals and provided two assists in his seven league appearances since Gameweek 8, blanking on just three occasions.

He has averaged 5.1 points per match, more than any other team-mate this season.

The Toon Army’s highly favourable run-in boosts Isak’s prospects of more points in FPL.

Six of the club’s next ten opponents, Brentford, Leicester City, Ipswich Town, Manchester United, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Southampton, are in the bottom half of the table.

Penalty duty

Isak, who is penalty-kick taker, is another factor in his favour.

He has been handed penalties for United, netting from the spot five times in last term.

His total of 3 assists was joint-top among all his team-mate in FPL.

And his five goals and 10 bonus points ranked top in Eddie Howe’s side.

With those numbers and his kind run of opponents, Isak is poised to be a key player for FPL managers over the busy festive period.

FPL GW14 Free Transfer Glitz: Matheus Cunha

Paneorder says Wolverhampton Wanderers playmaker’s influence could be decisive in the coming Gameweeks

Paneorder is tipping one player to produce big points in Gameweek 14 of 2024/25 Fantasy Premier League.

Matheus Cunha (WOL) 7.1m

Wolverhampton Wanderers’ playmaker has stepped up his output ahead of a crucial visit to Goodison Park.

Cunha’s away form suggests he can deliver big hauls in Fantasy right from the very start of Wolves’ kind schedule.

The Brazilian has delivered attacking returns in four successive matches on the road for the first time since Gameweek 5.

Indeed, he is their top-scoring player on the road in 2024/25 Fantasy, producing five goals, one assist and 42 points over their last four away matches, 25 more than the 17 of Joao Gomez (4.9m).

The underlying statistics show Cunha has been a major all-round influence on the Wolves since Cunha changed his shirt number from the No. 12 to the No. 10 this season.

Cunha’s 16 bonus points ranks first for Gary O’Neil side over that run.

Meanwhile, his tally of 77 points is at least 16 more than any team-mate.

Cunha also fares well when assessed against other players in Fantasy.

Indeed, his form (average score per match in the last 30 days) which is 9 put him among the top 3 players overall.

That suggests Cunha will have a major part to play in Wolves’ bid to stay in the Premier League.

Wolverhampton Wanderers are inside the relegation zone after Saturday’s 4-2 defeat at Bournemouth.

But they will take encouragement from their hosts’ frailties at home, with Everton keeping only two clean sheets in home matches this term.

FPL GW13 Free Transfer Glitz: Joao Pedro

Paneorder is tipping one player to produce big points in Gameweek 13 of Fantasy Premier League.

Joao Pedro (BHA) 5.6m

The Brighton & Hove Albion forward looks to be back to his best.

Pedro pounced on a rebound and also supplied an assist in a 2-1 win at Bournemouth last weekend.

He has now racked up two goals and 23 points in his last two Gameweek appearances.

Pedro has started only one of Brighton & Hove Albion’s home PL match this season due to injury.

The statistics help to highlight the Seagulls’ recent goal threat when playing at Amex Stadium.

At home, Pedro’s two goals this term are second among his team-mates.

He has been 19 per cent of Brighton & Hove Albion’s goals when selected, second only to the 28 per cent of Danny Welbeck (6.0m).

Yet whereas Welbeck sits in 21.5 per cent of squads, only 13.3 per cent own the Brazilian.

Pedro’s popularity is on the rise, however, ahead of a home match against Southampton.

The 23-year-old is the second most-bought player in the Gameweek.

And his 411,000 new owners will be encouraged by his side’s impressive record in their home meetings.

At Amex Stadium, the Seagulls conceded eight goals only. And they have not lost in each of the opening six home matches (3 wins and 3 draws), third only to the Brentford (5 wins and 1 draw) and Arsenal (4 wins and 2 draws) in Premier League this season.

Russell Martin’s men have also struggled defensively and are without a clean sheet in the last six away matches.

This suggests Pedro can reward his growing ownership and get more goals on Friday evening.

FPL GW12 Free Transfer Glitz: Bryan Mbeumo

Paneorder says Brentford midfielder is set to continue his fine form in next two matches against Everton and Leicester City

Paneorder is tipping one player to produce big points in Gameweek 12 of Fantasy Premier League.

Bryan Mbeumo (BRE) 7.9m

The Cameroonian has been a major success in Brentford’s recent home matches.

Seven of Mbeumo’s eight goals in 2024/25 have been scored in the last six fixtures at Gtech Community Stadium.

He has earned 60 FPL points at home during this period and he has had no blank in all home encounters.

Home points streak

Mbeumo scored twice in a 4-3 win with Ipswich Town in Gameweek 9.

He followed up with impressive displays in his two appearances when his attacking partner Yoane Wissa (6.1m) returned from his injury.

The 25-year-old supplied an assist against AFC Bournemouth to earn 5 points in Gameweek 11.

Interest in Mbeumo has soared ahead of their relegation fights in next two Gameweeks.

He is the sixth most-bought midfielder in the Gameweek, recruited by over 112,000 FPL managers.

Indeed, Everton’s defence at home is poor and they have only kept one clean sheet at Goodison Park this term.

Owned by 42.6 per cent, he will also look to take advantage of a Foxes defence that has struggled defensively on the road.

Steve Cooper’s side have yet to keep a clean sheet on their travels this season, conceding 14 goals in six matches.

Goal and assist potential

The underlying statistics further strengthen Mbeumo’s appeal.

His 12 bonus points claimed are more than any team-mate across the PL season.

That all-round influence can help Mbeumo deliver another big haul for the visitors this weekend.

FPL GW11 Free Transfer Glitz: Strand Larsen

Paneorder says Wolverhampton Wanderers forward can deliver on his promising stats against a leaky Southampton defence

Paneorder is tipping one player to produce big points in Gameweek 11 of Fantasy Premier League.

Strand Larsen (WOL) 5.6m

The Wolves forward hosts Southampton on Saturday in the most consistent form of his debut campaign.

Larsen has blanked just once in the Wolves’ last four PL matches, totalling 24 points.

He has scored against Brentford, Manchester City and Crystal Palace during that period.

By comparison, he had produced returns in only two of the opening six Gameweeks.

The underlying statistics show why Larsen has been so successful recently. The Norwegian has been claimed five bonus points over the last three Gameweeks, while he got zero bonus point beforehand.

His expected goals (xG) are 2.48 which is more than any other team-mates.

The home form of Larsen provides Fantasy Premier League managers with a tempting option for their next seven fixtures. According to the Fixtures Difficulty Ratings (FDR), six of their next seven fixtures score only two.

His total of three home goals is also more than any Wolves team-mate this season.

By comparison, Matheus Cunha (6.7m) has scored one home goal, while Rayan Ait-Nouri (4.7m) has scored once at home as well.

Yet whereas Cunha and Ait-Nouri are owned by 7.2 per cent and 11.3 per cent respectively, Larsen is found in only 2.7 per cent of squads.

Southampton’s poor defensive record suggests Larsen can build upon his eye-catching League matches.

Larsen can seize upon those frailties, rewarding his huge number of new owners with another big return.
